About

For me, Creative Counselling began from a deeply personal place.

Creative Counselling

As a child, I often felt overwhelmed by emotions I did not yet have the language or tools to express. I longed for a space where I could process my feelings safely, gently, and without judgement. I found part of that space in drama and creativity - but the true foundation of my healing and direction came through Jesus.

It was through His guidance, comfort, and steady presence that I learned the value of emotional honesty, resilience, and compassion.

As I grew older and worked closely with children and eventually with teenagers as an au pair and teacher, I recognised how many young hearts carried similar uncertainties, fears, overwhelming emotions, or unspoken feelings.

Creative Counselling was created
from a clear calling:

To offer children and teenagers a safe, creative, and supportive environment where they can explore their emotions, better understand themselves, and be guided toward confidence, emotional awareness, and personal growth.

Vision Statement

To nurture emotional awareness and confidence that extend beyond each session, empowering children and teenagers to understand their emotions, build self-belief, and positively influence their relationships, learning environments, and everyday lives.

Parents can trust that their child will be supported with respect, empathy, and genuine care in a safe and encouraging space.

Mission Statement

My mission is to support children and teenagers in Grade 1–12 through creative, development-focused, and evidence-informed approaches that strengthen emotional awareness, identity, and long-term resilience.

This is achieved by designing personalised sessions that honour each young person’s emotional needs, developmental stage, and individual pace, while equipping them with practical tools they can carry forward into daily life.

I am Committed To:

Teaching emotional intelligence and awareness

Strengthening confidence and personal identity

Guiding teens through overwhelm, social pressures, and mindset challenges

Teaching practical tools for emotional regulation

Providing a warm, non-judgmental environment

Tailoring each session to each individual child or teen
